To perform the Softball Sport Ladder Modified In And Out softball players will need a set of Kbands Leg Resistance Bands and a Sport Ladder. Athletes will attach the Kbands Leg Resistance Bands just above their knees and lay the Sport Ladder flat on the ground. Athletes will start at one end of the ladder and begin by jumping and tapping both feet just outside of the first square. Athletes will then jump up and place one foot inside of the same square while kicking their opposite heel toward their butt, Athletes will move to the next square and repeat the sequence, alternating which leg taps inside of the square and which heel kicks toward their butt. Continue this alternating sequence down the Sport Ladder and back to the starting point.
Softball players will perform 4-6 resisted sets of the exercise before removing the resistance and perform 2-4 unresisted sets of the exercise. Allow 30-45 seconds of rest between sets.
