Baller Basketball Academy —
Basketball Speed and Agility Training is one of the most important parts of basketball training. Great foot work, speed, quickness, agility, lateral and linear movement in basketball creates great basketball players. But many coaches do not train for Speed and Agility. Most coaches are great at conditioning and actual basketball training, but training for Speed and Agility requires a different type of training and mindset.

Basketball and most sports in general usually have conditioning, strength training and advance skilled training programs. But in today's sports training that's just not good enough anymore. Muhammad Ali
Muhammad Ali was one of the true innovators of using Speed and Agility. He used his great hand speed to knock out opponents. But what was crucial to his success was his great foot work and lateral movement to slip punches. To this day we have never seen a boxer quite like him. He was an early adopter of Speed & Agility Training.

Ali worked on his Speed and Agility relentlessly. While every other boxer was training using traditional methods he and his trainer Angelo Dundee felt if you were faster and able to move better than anyone else you could become a champion. Boy were they right!

Trent 'Radar' Partridge and Kevin Green founders of Baller Basketball Academy — have coached and trained recreation basketball, youth, middle school, high school, travel, AAU, USAAA, YBOA, college, pro, girls and boys. We have been playing and watching basketball for over 40 years. In addition, we played competitive tennis, racquetball, soccer and baseball. We noticed many athletes throughout the years could have been faster, quicker and more agile with proper training. We strongly felt they were not trained in Speed and Agility. We felt with the variety of sports we played besides basketball we could offer a creative unique approach to Basketball Speed and Agility Training. We decided to create a Basketball Speed and Agility Training Program that reflected multiple sports with basketball specific drills. Our goal from youth to professionals is to increase speed, agility, coordination, reflex, burst, quickness, linear and lateral movement while still having body control with proper balance.
