This is a great drill to work out your defensive stance and slides. First make sure you slap the ground to get you low and into your defensive stance. You should be on the balls of your feel, arch your back and hands up. Then slide your feet (without crossing them) from elbow to elbow, which is the length of the foul line. Each time you get to an elbow you should slap the ground with 2 hands to get you low and tough. Continue doing for several sets that are about 10 – 15 seconds long.
