By completing 3 sets of 8 on each exercise you will have completed a full vertical leap workout.
Remember that when doing these drills that you always land "softly" which means that you land and bend your knees to absorb the pounding on your knees and lower back.
These 3 exercises are very game specific as they are movements that you use in the game of basketball often.
Therefore if you can improve your ability to jump higher with these movements then you will have directly impacted your athleticism in the games.
-The first drill simulates drop steps: complete 3 sets of 8 reps
-The second drill simulates 1-footed layups: complete 3 sets of 8 reps
-The last drill simulates jumping up for a rebound: complete 3 sets of 8 reps
