This week's Coaches Show features new Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach Jason Vest. Vest arrived on Grymes Hill from Troy State University in Alabama where he developed strength and conditioning programs for the softball and men's/women's golf teams while assisting the head strength and conditioning coach with training members of the football program. While at Troy, he served on the State Board for the NSCA in Alabama.
Vest has also served internships within the strength and conditioning programs at Auburn University in Auburn, AL and Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC.
A 2009 graduate of James Madison University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science, Vest served as a student assistant in the Dukes' strength and conditioning program where he worked directly with the men's and women's basketball and women's swimming and diving teams.
Vest also owns a Master's of Science degree in Sports and Fitness Management from Troy State in May, 2011,
At Wagner, Vest is pursuing an MBA with a concentration in management.
